Have you ever trekked through a real jungle? In Laos you have the chance to do so! The nature is as untouched as it can be. The only sign of human kind a small trail created by a machete which is usually used by the rural villagers. One of them will guide you through the jungle and make sure there are no snakes or other dangerous animals ahead. Only of the leeches you have to take care yourself. They sit in the foliage eager to climb up your shoes (but even if they manage to do so, they are harmless!).
You will see trees as big as you have never seen before, liana, termite hills, large insects and wild honey combs. It’s really impressive to see and you will feel very small compared to this big forrest surrounding you.
